In my personal experience exploring Freedom24 as a forex and multi-asset trader, I discovered that their platform selection is quite distinct compared to many traditional brokers. Freedom24 primarily offers a proprietary web-based platform and a dedicated mobile app for trading. This means trading is generally conducted through their own custom software rather than through widely recognized third-party platforms. From what I could verify, Freedom24 does not provide access to MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5), or cTrader. This absence stood out to me because these third-party platforms are standard tools among many forex traders due to their advanced charting, automated trading capabilities, and extensive community support. Using a broker’s self-developed platform can sometimes feel limiting, especially if you're accustomed to the flexibility and features of MT4 or MT5. This lack of MT4, MT5, or cTrader support might be a considerable drawback for traders like me who rely on custom indicators, expert advisors, or advanced technical analysis routines. For those who are comfortable exploring a new interface and do not require the deepest technical tools, the convenience of a single, integrated platform may suffice. That said, I proceed with caution and always ensure the chosen platform fully meets my trading requirements before committing significant funds.
