When I assess a broker, the issue of inactivity or maintenance fees is significant, as hidden fees can considerably erode profitability over time, especially with prop trading firms where rules and terms often shift or are less transparent than traditional brokerages. TickTickTrader’s publicly available materials do not outline any direct charges for inactive accounts. Most of their fee structure revolves around upfront, one-time payments for direct funded accounts or recurring payments for evaluation plans, with these being clear and predictable. However, for me, the lack of regulatory oversight and the explicit warning about suspicious regulatory licenses raise caution. Firms without regulatory supervision could theoretically implement or change such policies with minimal notice. Thus, while I didn’t encounter an inactivity fee in their stated terms, I urge anyone considering TickTickTrader to clarify this directly with their customer support and to carefully monitor any changes in the user agreement. In my practice, I never skip scrutinizing the fine print and prefer documented assurance on fee structures before committing any capital, especially with firms lacking robust regulation.
