As someone who has traded with a variety of brokers, I always prioritize understanding the costs associated with my trades, especially spreads on major forex pairs like EUR/USD. However, after thoroughly reviewing YM Securities, it became clear to me that this firm does not actually offer forex trading to retail clients. Instead, their product range is limited to domestic and foreign stocks, bonds, and investment trusts, with no mention or support for forex pairs such as EUR/USD on standard accounts or otherwise. This is a crucial consideration for anyone, like myself, who is specifically seeking access to forex markets. The presence of a "Retail Forex License" and regulation by Japan's FSA might initially give the impression that forex trading could be available, but in my experience and according to the detailed product breakdown, forex is explicitly not offered. This distinction is important because it guards against misunderstandings and potential disappointment for traders whose primary focus is currencies. For me, transparency about available products is a foundation for trust, and I always make sure to cross-reference official sources before making decisions. Ultimately, if your interest is in trading EUR/USD or other forex pairs, YM Securities would not be suitable, and it's wise to consider a broker with a clearly stated and supported forex offering.
