As an experienced forex trader who has explored UCTrader, I’ve paid special attention to its instrument lineup since asset variety is critical for my trading decisions. UCTrader offers an extensive array of both forex and commodity market instruments. In terms of commodities, the platform specifies access to “base metals, carbon, and energy bullet and Asian swaps,” but in my careful reading, there is no explicit mention of the ability to trade individual spot assets like Gold (XAU/USD) or Crude Oil contracts in the traditional sense. While “base metals” are included in their commodity offering, gold is a precious metal and not always included under that terminology—this distinction matters, as in regulated brokers that specifically list spot Gold/XAU pairs, the information is always precise. I’m always cautious, especially given that UCTrader is completely unregulated and flagged for high potential risk, with WikiFX warning against trusting the firm’s transparency or security of funds. Without firm regulatory oversight and precise listing of individual assets like Gold or Crude, I find it prudent to assume that standard spot trading of XAU/USD or Crude Oil may not be reliably supported. For traders like myself who prioritize direct access to these popular instruments, I advise extreme caution and suggest verifying with the broker directly, while considering regulated alternatives that clearly and transparently list such assets. For me, clarity and oversight are non-negotiable.
