In my experience with Tradition, I was keen to explore their deposit options, especially since many traders today, including myself, look for the convenience and speed of cryptocurrency deposits like Bitcoin or USDT. However, after reviewing all available details about their services, I found no mention of support for cryptocurrency deposits. Tradition focuses on interdealer broking, primarily working with FX forwards, commodities, Japanese index derivatives, and certain financial instruments, and it is regulated by the SFC in Hong Kong under T.F.S. Derivatives HK Limited. Their core services appear tailored to institutional clients rather than retail traders, and there’s a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and traditional funding methods. From what I’ve seen, their platform and listed products do not indicate any facilities for crypto onboarding or transfers. This makes sense considering SFC’s regulatory environment and the broker’s long-standing business model that centers more on conventional markets and counterparties. For me, this lack of crypto integration is important because it points to their conservative approach—minimizing operational and regulatory risks. If crypto deposits are a necessity for you, Tradition may not meet those needs at this time. As always, I would advise verifying directly with their support before making any assumptions, but based on all currently available official information and my own review, depositing Bitcoin or USDT is not possible with Tradition.
