As an experienced trader, whenever I consider a new platform like CENTRAL, my first priority is to determine the specific asset classes and instruments available for trading. Based on the detailed information I found, CENTRAL—operating primarily as Central China International Securities Co., Limited—focuses predominantly on securities trading, investment banking, and stock-related services under Hong Kong SFC oversight. Importantly, their regulatory licenses offer crucial context: CENTRAL’s license for dealing in futures contracts has been revoked. Why does this matter? The ability to trade commodities such as Gold (XAU/USD) and Crude Oil typically requires either CFD (Contract for Difference) or futures trading permissions. In regulated Hong Kong markets, these commodities are generally traded as futures. With their futures trading license revoked, CENTRAL is not permitted to operate in that domain, and there is no reference to commodity CFDs or spot metal trading within their listed services. In my assessment, the absence of a valid futures trading license alongside an unclear “Exceeded” status on their securities license signals significant regulatory uncertainty. I found no clear evidence that CENTRAL supports direct trading of gold, crude oil, or other non-equity instruments typically available on multi-asset brokerage platforms. Given these regulatory gaps and because the platform’s fee structure and instrument list are not transparent for such assets, I would exercise caution and avoid assuming such products are available. For me, any trading in commodities like Gold (XAU/USD) or Crude Oil requires a broker with explicit, active regulatory approval for those instruments. Until CENTRAL provides clear, updated confirmation of such offerings and robust regulatory standing, I would not rely on them for commodities trading.
