Based on my review of Limit Prime Securities, I found that this broker does not charge commissions per lot on trades, at least on their available standard accounts. From my experience with various brokers, the industry sometimes offers ECN or raw spread accounts that do have per-lot commissions, but Limit Prime seems to operate differently. According to the information I found, their accounts are commission-free, with trading costs mainly embedded in the spreads, which are variable. For me, this setup is fairly straightforward but also means that there is only a standard account type—no mention of specialized ECN or raw spread accounts with separate commission structures. While trading without explicit commissions can be attractive, I always stay cautious because spreads can indirectly impact costs. I did not come across evidence of hidden fees, but I did note an inactive account fee and withdrawal fees for dormant accounts, so that’s something I’d factor into my decision. I believe the absence of commission per lot aligns with Limit Prime’s model, which is more suited for traders prioritizing simplicity over the possible lower costs that might come with true ECN accounts elsewhere. As always, I recommend reviewing fee transparency and considering how the structure fits your trading needs.
