Based on my review and direct experience researching Univest Securities, I did not find any evidence that they provide access to widely recognized retail trading platforms like MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5), or cTrader. This is an important consideration for me as a forex trader, as the availability of established trading platforms often enhances transparency and the overall trading process. In my research, I saw that Univest Securities promotes itself as a boutique investment bank and securities broker-dealer focusing on capital markets advisory and investment banking rather than retail forex trading. From what I’ve gathered, they appear to cater more toward individuals and institutions seeking investment banking or advisory services, not active forex or CFD traders looking for robust, industry-standard trading software. There was no mention of proprietary platforms or integrations with the commonly used trading platforms. The lack of platform information, combined with the absence of regulatory oversight, makes me especially cautious about using them for any active trading. For those who prioritize user protections and access to well-known trading platforms, this is a critical point that cannot be overlooked. My personal approach would be to seek brokers that are both regulated and clear about their platform offerings.
