Based on my personal experience and research into Firstrade, it’s important to clarify that Firstrade does not actually offer forex trading, including major currency pairs like EUR/USD, through its platform. As a long-term independent trader who carefully examines brokers for transparency and product range, this is a major consideration for me—especially when looking for a venue to trade forex instruments. Firstrade focuses on U.S. stocks, ETFs, options, and mutual funds. Unlike many global brokers that provide currency pairs with published spreads, Firstrade does not list, quote, or execute trades in forex at all. For someone exploring forex trading, not finding EUR/USD or any other FX pair available is a direct reflection of the broker’s service structure rather than a simple omission. From a risk management and safety standpoint, I have learned to always verify the tradable instruments before funding any account, and I advise the same to others. If you seek to trade EUR/USD or follow standard forex spreads, Firstrade does not fulfill these needs. In my experience, finding a regulated broker specifically offering forex trading—and one that discloses its spread policy up front—is critical. Firstrade, being unregulated and not offering forex, isn’t suitable for those priorities.
