In my experience, HAITONG FUTURES does have some limitations. Firstly, its deposit and withdrawal options, while safe and bank-backed, are relatively limited compared to some global brokers, which could be less convenient for investors seeking multiple alternative payment methods. Secondly, the platform imposes regional restrictions, so users in certain countries, including the US, Japan, Canada, Australia, the UK, Iran, Syria, Sudan, North Korea, and Cuba, cannot open accounts. Personally, this has not been an issue for me, as I reside in China, but for international investors, this could be restrictive. Lastly, some detailed information about trading fees or spreads is not publicly disclosed, so I often need to contact customer service to confirm specific trading costs. Despite these minor limitations, the regulatory oversight and broad product offering outweigh the drawbacks from my perspective.
