Are there any downsides to trading with Xtrade?
The major con for me when it comes to trading with Xtrade is the high spread, which starts at 2 pips. Compared to other brokers who offer tighter spreads, this can increase the cost of each trade. I’m someone who makes multiple trades during a day, so Xtrade trading with such a high spread would make a big impact on my profits. The Xtrade fees for spreads alone are a dealbreaker for me if I want to trade frequently or in high volumes. Furthermore, Xtrade’s regulatory status—with a revoked ASIC license and unverified CYSEC status—raises concerns about the safety of my funds. Personally, I don’t feel comfortable trading with a broker that doesn’t have clear and verifiable regulation from respected bodies. If I were to use Xtrade, I’d be very cautious about the amounts I trade and the type of trades I engage in, given the lack of regulatory certainty. For me, these issues would significantly limit my confidence in Xtrade investment.
