The major downside, for me, is the lack of regulation. Trading with an unregulated broker always comes with extra risk, and that makes me hesitant to fully trust SmartSTP with large sums of money. Additionally, the spreads can be quite wide, especially with the Silver account, where the EUR/USD spread is 2.6 pips. This is not ideal for me, as I prefer tighter spreads to minimize trading costs. Lastly, I find it disappointing that they don't offer MT4 or MT5, which are platforms I’m more familiar with.
