ContentsStart with the legal name on the agreement offered for the particular account. Keep the agreement version and date together with any application confirmation. A group name in an advertisement, a support signature, and a contracting company may serve different roles. Where the names differ, obtain an explanation instead of assuming they are interchangeable.
The archived About page is useful evidence of the companys public presentation at that time. It is not an account agreement, an independently verified regulatory record, or confirmation that a resident of any particular country can use the service. This guide does not assign an unverified licence number to a prospective customer.
A useful FBS regulation check compares the exact legal name and identifying number with the original record of the authority named in the agreement. Read the permitted activities and any conditions or restrictions shown there. An entry for one company should not be transferred to a different company merely because both use the same brand.
Also distinguish incorporation from authorisation to conduct a particular financial activity. A registration number identifies a record; its significance depends on the issuing body and the type of record. If the document or register does not resolve that question, record the uncertainty rather than turning the number into a safety endorsement.
South Asia is not a single regulatory jurisdiction. A statement about one country, company, or product cannot by itself establish the position elsewhere in the region. This article makes no finding about local permission in India or another South Asian country. Anyone considering a transaction needs the rules applicable to their own circumstances checked separately.
The agreement should also identify where an account-specific complaint goes and which company must answer it. A website contact form and a formal complaints route need not be the same thing. Preserve the applicable procedure before a dispute arises, including how to identify the account and attach supporting documents. Do not assume a compensation arrangement applies without checking its conditions.
A useful FBS review of account identity leaves a short, traceable record: the agreement, the matching company entry, the product scope, and any unresolved eligibility question. It does not promise that a future withdrawal will succeed or that trading losses will be reimbursed.

The aim is to identify the correct counterparty before relying on a licence claim, entering into a contract, or deciding where an eventual complaint belongs.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said on Wednesday it would ensure that the "undervalued" rupee finds its correct level, after the currency slid to a five-month low of 96.8450 per dollar. The central bank also raised its policy rate by 25 basis points, its first tightening since February 2023, but the rupee still weakened as foreign capital flowed out of Indian markets.
India's foreign exchange reserves stood at $747.56 billion in the week ended September 25, according to The Economic Times, which reported the figure alongside a headline decline of $18.34 billion. The same report said the fall was driven mainly by a reduction in foreign currency assets, the largest component of the reserves.
The Reserve Bank of India raised its policy repo rate by 25 basis points to 5.50% on Wednesday, October 7, its first increase in nearly four years, and shifted its stance to "calibrated tightening". Governor Sanjay Malhotra said outright that rate cuts are off the table for now. "Rate cuts are off the table in the near term and policy action ahead can only be a rate hike or a pause, depending on the evolving conditions and the outlook," Malhotra said. The six-member Monetary Policy Committee voted unanimously, according to multiple reports. For a retail trader, the number to sit with is not 5.50%. It is 5.25% — the Standing Deposit Facility rate, the floor of the RBI's corridor, and the rate that effectively sets what it costs to fund a short-rupee position overnight. The rupee has been weakening, and reports describe that weakness as one of the reasons the RBI moved.
Ethiopia's central bank has allocated $840 million for foreign exchange auctions in the second quarter of the 2026/27 fiscal year, according to a statement reported by CNBC Africa on Tuesday. The funds will be released in six batches through auctions held every two weeks, beginning October 13.
