Based on my experience navigating various brokerage platforms, I always pay special attention to the trading software, as compatibility with Expert Advisors (EAs) is a significant factor for many of us seeking automation. DONGHUA FUTURES does not support the commonly used MetaTrader 4 or 5 platforms, which are widely recognized for their robust EA integration. Instead, their platforms—such as Fast Futures V2 and V3 Trading Terminal, Wenhua Yingshun Cloud Trading Edition, and Boyi Cloud Trading Edition—are self-developed and tailored for desktop trading. From my perspective, self-developed trading software in China often lacks open access for third-party EAs, and there’s no explicit information indicating that automated trading via EAs is permitted on these systems. For me, the lack of public documentation about API access or script support on DONGHUA FUTURES’ platforms means I have to proceed cautiously. Automated trading is a powerful tool, but without official support or clarity, I would not feel confident relying on EAs here. My advice—grounded in practical experience—is to verify directly with the broker whether any automation solutions are natively supported. In environments where transparency about such features is limited, I always tread conservatively, since automated trading requires a robust, well-supported infrastructure to manage the additional risks involved.
