However, it’s important to note that Morrison does not provide access to commonly used retail forex platforms such as MT4, MT5, or cTrader. For me, as someone with a background in retail forex trading, this is a critical distinction—especially since those platforms are practically industry standards for automated trading, custom indicators, and an extensive third-party ecosystem. Morrison’s offering is clearly geared more toward equities, options, and listed investment products, rather than spot forex or CFDs, and their software reflects that focus. For traders specifically seeking MT4, MT5, or cTrader functionality, Morrison would not meet those needs. Instead, their array of platforms caters more to Australian exchange-traded instruments and institutional trading workflows, which may not be suitable for all strategies or backgrounds.
