Reasons for Field Survey

Hong Kong, being an international financial center, is home to one of the most significant forex broker globally. Characterized by high internationalization, active trading, and strict regulation, it holds a pivotal position in global forex trading. To assist investors in gaining a comprehensive and precise understanding of forex brokers in this region, the surveyors conducted field surveys in Hong Kong.

Field Survey Process

As planned, our inspection team traveled to Hong Kong to visit the broker GDFS TRADE. Publicly available information indicates its office address is Room 1401, 14/F, Fortis Building, 77-79 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

Based on this address, the professional inspection team, committed to fulfilling their responsibility to investors, conducted an on-site inspection of GDFS TRADE.

The inspection team traveled to the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong and arrived at Fortis Building. The building boasts a prime location, surrounded by commercial areas, with an average corporate campus and streetscape, and a strong business atmosphere. From the exterior, the inspection team was able to capture a clear panoramic view of the building, but no GDFS TRADE signage was visible.

The inspection team successfully entered the building lobby, which appeared to be typical of a commercial building. However, upon checking the lobby sign, they did not find GDFS TRADE's company name. The sign indicated that the 14th floor was for another company, and no directions to the company's location were available.

The surveyors took the elevator to the 14th floor and found room 1401. However, there was no signage related to GDFS TRADE, nor was the company logo visible inside the building. Therefore, the surveyors were unable to confirm the company's operational status, nor were they able to enter the building, and naturally, they were unable to take photos of the reception desk or its logo. The survey confirmed that the location was not a shared office, further confirming that GDFS TRADE did not actually operate there.

Thus, the survey confirmed that GDFS TRADE did not have a physical business location.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited the Forex broker GDFS TRADE as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
