In recent years, it has gradually evolved into a significant financial nexus connecting Africa and Asia, demonstrating strong competitiveness within the regional financial system. According to its “National Development Strategy (Vision 2030),” the Mauritian government has explicitly stated its goal to establish the financial sector as a pillar of economic diversification and to develop the country into a regional international financial center by 2030, complementing established hubs like Singapore and Dubai.

As a key offshore financial center in Africa, Mauritius has attracted numerous forex brokers, fund management companies, and cross-border financial firms. Data from the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC) indicates that there are currently over 20,000 registered global business companies, many of which are involved in forex trading, fund management, and investment advisory services. Over the past five years, the number of relevant financial licenses has maintained an annual growth rate of 8–10%, with fund management activities expanding at double-digit rates, reflecting a robust and steady growth trend.

On-site Visit

As scheduled, WikiFX survey team visited Mauritius to conduct an on-site inspection of the forex broker Aurum Markets. Publicly available information indicates Aurum Markets office address is: Office 212, Block A, The Junction Business Hub, Calebasses Branch Road, Calebasses, 20201, Mauritius.

The investigators arrived in Calebasses, Mauritius, located approximately 15 kilometers from the capital city, Port Louis. Aurum Markets is situated within The Junction Business Hub complex in Calebasses.

The Junction Business Hub is a modern business complex in Calebasses, northern Mauritius. It integrates natural scenery with contemporary design, specifically created for corporate offices, business incubation, and cross-border operations, aiming to provide a green, comfortable, and efficient working environment.

The hub has already attracted several global institutions, including the multinational telecommunications giant Paratus Telecommunications Limited and the well-known international law firm INLEX MEA.

Among them, Aurum Markets Limited is located in Office 212 on the ground floor of Block A within the complex.

The investigators then proceeded to Block A of the business center and confirmed Aurum Markets office location as Room 212. The interior of the business center presented a professional environment, with tidy and well-maintained corridors.

After stating their purpose, the investigators were permitted to enter Aurum Markets‘ office area for photography and observation. On-site verification confirmed that this is a well-organized and efficiently run office with a logical layout and suitable environment, operating under normal conditions. The on-site staff conducted themselves appropriately and demonstrated high professionalism, reflecting the company’s standardized, robust, and professional brand image.

Conclusion

The survey team proceeded as planned to Mauritius for an on-site visit to the broker Aurum Markets. The brokers office was successfully located at its publicly disclosed operational address. Therefore, it can be concluded that the broker maintains a legitimate physical operational presence. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
