Some investors made phone calls tothe inspection team for more information of Australia licensed brokers whose real address were not the same with its regulation address. In response to investors’ strong need, the inspect personal went to FP Markets in Australia to know more about it.

According to the regulation information, the Australia licensed broker FP Markets is located at MATHEW MURPHIE, Level 5, 10 Bridge Street SYDNEY NSW 2000. The inspect personal then visited this place.

The inspection personnel easily found this new building, under the guidance of the regulatory information.

The inspection personnel entered the building and saw the name of the broker they were looking for on the name plate in the lobby room. Then they took the elevator to the fifth floor.

The office and the loge of FP Markets were witnessed when the elevator opened. Unfortunately, judging from the provider code of this company, this office should belong to a clone company of FP Markets, instead of the real FP Markets (code 7051467603).

Conclusion

The visit by our inspection personnel confirmed that the broker FP Markets’ real address was inconsistent with its regulatory address. The MM license issued by ASIC (reference number 286354) claimed by this broker is suspected to be a clone.
