Reason for this visit

To help investors have good knowledge of regulated brokers in Cyprus, the survey team this time visited XGLOBAL, a broker based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Regulatory information

According to the regulatory information, the broker XGLOBAL has the MM license issued by CySEC and located at 162, Fragklinou Rousvelt, 1st Floor, CY-3045 Limassol. The survey team thus decided to have an on-site visit to this regulatory address for confirmation.

In addition, XGLOBAL also holds the retail foreign exchange license issued by BaFin and the EEA license issued by FCA.

On-site visit

The survey team followed the address on the regulatory information to an office building at 162, Fragklinou Rousvelt, Limassol, Cyprus. The building is about 500 meters away from the new wharf with superior location and convenient transportation. Thus, it is quite easy to find the building. Also, the team instantly caught sight of the logo XGLOBAL on the rooftop in distance.  

Further, there was a logo of XGLOBAL at the entrance of building.

Due to the access control, the team was unable to enter the building. However, the logo of  XGLOBAL was clearly visible at the office door.

Conclusion

The survey team’s site visit confirmed that at the address shown in the regulatory information there is the office place of the broker XGLOBAL. And it is speculated that the business scale of broker is fairly large. Thorough consideration is suggested for making any choice.
