Inspection Reason

Some investors called the inspection team to express their hope for more exposure of New Zealand licensed brokers whose real addresses were different from regulation address. In response to investors’ feedback, the surveyor went to TS’s office in New Zealand.

 Office Building

According to the regulation information, the New Zealand licensed broker was located at Floor 3, 87 AlberT STreeT Auckland CenTral Auckland 1010. The surveyor decided to visit the broker. 

The surveyor found the office building indicated by the regulation information. The building nearing Sky Tower, the landmark.

The surveyor entered the building and found a floor directory in the lobby at 1F. However, there was no information about TS on the directory. In order to ensure inspection quality, the surveyor arrived at 3F but failed to find TS’s office after walking around the aisle. 

Conclusion

It was confirmed after the surveyor’s inspection that the New Zealand licensed broker TS’s real address wasn’t the same with its regulation address. The broker’s financial services license (RN: 571587) was suspected to be bogus.
