Reasons for Field Survey

Hong Kong, being an international financial center, is home to one of the most significant forex markets globally. To assist investors in gaining a comprehensive and precise understanding of forex brokers in this region, the surveyors conducted field surveys in Hong Kong.

Field Survey Process

The field survey team planned to visit the broker DDO.INC in Hong Kong, according to the public information, their office is located at Unit D, 16th Floor, the Excel Centre, 250 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

With a responsibility towards investors, the professional survey team conducted an on-site verification of DDO.INC based on the given address.

The surveyors arrived in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, at the Excel Centre. The building was in poor condition with few companies in residence, an average environment, and even though it was surrounded by a strong business atmosphere, the condition of the building itself was subpar. The surveyors were able to capture a clear overall view of the exterior of the building, however, no identifications for DDO.INC were found.

The surveyors entered the lobby of the building, which was quite bare due to the poor condition of the building. Upon checking the lobby directory, they could not find the company name of DDO.INC, hence there was no guidance to the company's location.

On visiting the 16th floor, the surveyors found that it was completely abandoned, no one was in sight, the lights were dim, thus there was no existent D unit or office of DDO.INC, neither was there a company logo inside the building. Therefore, the surveyors were unable to confirm its specific location, and could not gain entry into the company, or take pictures of the reception desk and its logo. After verification, this locale was not a co-working office, which further confirmed that the company wasn't operating from this location.

Hence, the field survey confirmed that the broker DDO.INC does not have a real place of business.
