Purpose

The foreign exchange market of Hong Kong, China is a regional core foreign exchange market that developed in the 1970s. As an important global offshore financial hub, it has a mature regulatory system and a highly open trading environment, and is a core site for many international forex brokers to expand their Asia-Pacific business. In order to help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual business operations of forex brokers in the region, the on-site visit team went to Hong Kong, China to conduct on-site verification.

Process

In this issue, the visiting team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker NewBillion. According to public information, its office address is unit no. 5, 1/f, rise commercial building, 5-11 granville circuit, tsim sha tsui, kowloon, hong kong.

A professional and experienced inspection team, with a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors' interests, followed a meticulous plan and traveled to Hong Kong, China. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker NewBillion claiming to be located at this address.

The inspectors successfully arrived at the target building. The location is within the core commercial district of Tsim Sha Tsui, surrounded by numerous shops, with dense pedestrian flow and a strong commercial atmosphere. The team captured a complete panoramic view of the building's exterior.

No company signage or promotional information related to NewBillion was found on the exterior of the building.

The inspectors entered the ground-floor lobby of the building and stated their purpose to the security guard. After a brief communication and registration, they successfully obtained entry permission and were able to move freely in the building's public areas.

After arriving at the target floor, the 1st floor, the inspectors walked through all public areas of the floor and found no signage for NewBillion's office area. The floor directory also contained no information related to this broker.

Since the corresponding office area could not be found, they were unable to enter the company's interior throughout the process, nor did they find the broker's reception desk. Naturally, they could not photograph the reception desk or its logo, and the premises were not a shared office.

The inspectors checked all marked unit doors on the floor one by one. No door sign indicated that the area corresponding to Unit No. 5 belonged to NewBillion, and no office traces related to the broker's business were observed.

After repeated on-site verification and confirmation, it was confirmed that there were indeed no office traces of the broker NewBillion at this address.

Conclusion

The visiting personnel went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker NewBillion. At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see the company name or other information of the broker. After asking the on-site security guard, they learned that this company had never moved into this address, indicating that the broker does not have a real business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
