Purpose

The Hong Kong foreign exchange market is an international forex market that developed in the 1970s. It is one of the most active forex markets in the world, characterized by flexible trading hours and a wide variety of trading instruments. In order to help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the region, a field visit to the forex brokers in the region was conducted.

Process

This time, as planned, we went to Hong Kong, China for an on-site visit to forex broker PROFIT. According to public information, its office address is Flat RM A, 12/F, 300 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai.

A professional and experienced team, with a sense of mission to strictly check for investors, followed a carefully planned schedule and went to Hong Kong, China. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker PROFIT claiming to be located at Flat RM A 12/F 300 Lockhart Road Wan Chai.

The inspectors arrived smoothly at the target building, located at 300 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai. The surrounding streets were relatively lively with a strong commercial atmosphere. However, no signage or relevant information of the company was found outside the building.

The inspectors entered the building lobby and explained their purpose to the security guard. After a brief conversation, they obtained permission to enter the building.

Upon arriving at the target floor, the 12th floor, the inspectors found no obvious signage or security measures for the office area of PROFIT. After asking the security guard, they were told that the company was not in the building. Since no signs of the company were found, the inspectors could not enter the so-called interior, nor could they take photos of the reception desk and its logo. The office area was not a shared office.

Through the public area of the floor, because no corresponding office space for the company was seen, it was impossible to observe its internal environment and other conditions. Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker PROFIT does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

The visiting personnel went to Hong Kong, China to investigate the forex broker PROFIT on schedule. At its publicly displayed business address, the company name of the broker was not visible, indicating that the broker does not have a real place of business. Please consider comprehensively before making your choice.
