Reasons for Field Survey

The Russian foreign exchange market is one of the most important financial markets in Eastern Europe. To help investors gain a deeper understanding of the actual operations of forex brokers in the region, a field research team conducted an on-site visit to Russia.

Field Survey Process

This time, the on-site inspection team traveled to Moscow as planned to conduct a comprehensive on-site inspection of the publicly available office address of InvestBroker: Moscow, prosp. Leningradsky, 39 (39 Leningradsky Avenue, Moscow, Russia).

The on-site inspection team first used navigation to locate the target address. Upon arrival, they discovered significant discrepancies between the on-site conditions and publicly available information: no buildings consistent with the company's characteristics existed at the address, only a flat, open field, with no signs of any remaining structures. To ensure the correct location, the on-site inspection team compared the on-site location with the historical markings for 39 Leningradsky Avenue. The historical map also showed a small house previously located there, which has since been completely demolished.

Since there were no existing buildings on site, the inspection process, including checking the lobby sign and reception desk, was not feasible. On-site observation revealed no planned business parks near the vacant land. Only surrounding roads and distant residential buildings were visible, with no signs of any commercial activity. Furthermore, no shared office facilities were identified in the area, ruling out the possibility that the company was operating from shared workspaces.

The above information confirms that not only does the office address claimed by InvestBroker not have a physical location, but the physical building corresponding to the address no longer exists.

Thus, the on-site inspection confirmed that InvestBroker does not have any actual business premises.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited the InvestBroker as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
