Reason for this visit

Forex market is the worlds largest financial market, with daily trading volume hitting trillions of dollars. In recent years, the emerging forex brokers are attracting more invests and institutions to the market, especially the highly developed, liquid US forex market with a slew of participants. In order to help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the US, WikiFX survey team is determined to go to the country for on-site visits to local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to the US to visit forex broker Mancu as planned according to its regulatory address that 1225, 17th Street, Denver, Colorado.

The investigators came to the 1225 17th Street in Denver CBD in the US and located a modern commercial building. Additionally, there are plenty of facilities nearby including entertainment, food and beverages, and office space, appealing to a steady stream of people due to the areas prosperity.

Upon arrival at the building for further investigation, the survey personnel spotted a directory in the lobby, which did not display the company name of Mancu. Without the specific floor and unit number, the inspection team asked the security officer on duty about the information regarding Mancu. According to the security staff, they never heard of the company. In the meantime, people were not allowed to go upstairs without an access card or an appointment in advance owing to the stringent security measures in the building.

Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that the broker does not have a presence at the location.

Conclusion

The survey team went to Denver in the US to visit forex broker Mancu, but did not find the company at its regulatory address. It suggests that the broker does not have a physical business office at the place. Therefore, investors are advised to make a sensible decision following much deliberation.
