Reasons for Field Survey

Leveraging its strengths in tourism and international trade, Thailand's foreign exchange market has steadily grown, becoming a vital component of Southeast Asia's financial landscape and attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Bangkok, Thailand.

Field Survey Process

This time, the survey team visited CAF as planned. Its public office address is 319 Chamchuri Square Building, Floor 12, Room 16, Phayathai Road, Pathum Wan, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand.

The survey team traveled to Phayathai Road in the Pathum Wan district of Bangkok (a prime location above a subway station, offering a bustling environment). They arrived at Chamchuri Square Building and captured panoramic views. The building has strict access control, and after being allowed into the lobby, the survey team discovered no CAF signage either in the lobby or on the floors.

When attempting to confirm the location of Room 16 on the 12th floor, we were unable to reach the specific floor or confirm the office location due to access restrictions and the lack of staff to assist in verification. Upon verification, we discovered that there were shared offices in the building, but we could not find any trace of CAF, and we were unable to photograph the reception desk or its logo. The “”internal office environment“” of the company was impossible to verify due to the lack of physical location.

Thus, the on-site inspection confirmed that CAF did not exist at the stated address, which was inconsistent with the address on the inspection form.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited the CAF as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
