Purpose

To help investors and practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of the forex brokers in the region, the field survey team conducted an on-site visit to the UAE.

Process

This time, the survey team went to the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site inspection of forex broker GLFX. According to public information, its office address is Unit 101, Building A2-IFZA Freezone, Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

A professional and experienced site inspection team, with the mission of strictly screening for investors, went to the United Arab Emirates according to a carefully planned schedule to conduct an on-site verification of broker GLFX, which claims to be located at Unit 101, Building A2-IFZA Freezone, Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The inspectors arrived smoothly at the target building. The site is located in a large business park in a suburban area of Dubai. The surroundings are generally open, with no dense street-level commercial facilities. The park is neatly planned overall, but foot traffic is low.

Outside the building, no company signage or related information associated with GLFX was found; only the building's own block number signs were visible.

The inspectors entered the first-floor lobby of the building and stated their purpose to the security guard or staff. After routine visitor registration, they were granted entry permission.

The inspectors searched inside the building and found that there was no complete floor directory signage. No directional information marked with GLFX could be found at all, nor were there any obvious signs or notices indicating the broker's office area.

Because no appointment had been made in advance and the ownership of the corresponding office unit could not be confirmed, the inspectors were unable to enter the relevant area. Throughout the process, they could not photograph the front desk and the front desk's logo, and the address is not a shared office.

The inspectors observed the area near the target office unit. The unit door in this area was completely closed, and no internal office environment could be seen through the doors or windows. There were also no visible traces of employee activity. The overall situation was completely inconsistent with the business positioning claimed by the broker.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that broker GLFX does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspection personnel went to the United Arab Emirates as planned to conduct an in-person visit to forex broker GLFX. At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see the company name or other information of the broker, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
