Inspection Reason

Recently, many investors made telephone calls to the inspection team, expressing their hope for the inspection team to expose more Australia licensed brokers whose regulation addresses are fake. According to investors’ feedback, the inspection staff paid a visit to the Australia licensed broker SAF.

Office Building

According to the regulation information, the Australia licensed broker SAF is located at Suite 705 Level 7, 8 Help Street, CHATSWOOD NSW 2067. The inspection staff visited the site.

The inspection staff found the seemly old-fashioned building according to the regulation information without much trouble. Entering the building, the staff caught sight of the spacious lobby and the well-marked doorplate on the white pillar.

Close to the exit, the inspection staff found a floor guide, on which there isn’t any information about SAF.

To ensure inspection quality, the inspection staff took the elevator to Level 7 and found Suite 705. But it seemed that the Suite was put for rent. The staff then walked around the whole floor, but didn’t found SAF’s office.

Conclusion

It is confirmed after the inspection staff’s field survey that the real address of the licensed broker SAF’s office in Australia is not consistent with the regulation address. As a holder of an investment consulting license (RN: 496371) issued by ASIC, the broker is found to be engaging in business beyond its licensed scope.
