Reason for this visit

Recently, investors have given feedback that they want to have more information about the brokers in Cyprus. To meet their demand, the survey team this time visited Skilling in Cyprus.

On-site visit

According to the regulatory information, the office of Skilling is located at 62 Athalassas Avenue, 2nd Floor, 2012 Strovolos, Nicosia. The survey team thus decided to have an on-site visit to this regulatory address for confirmation.

According to the above address, the survey team came to an office building at 62 Athalassas Avenue, Nicosia, Cyprus. The building was located in the main commercial street with excellent location and convenient transportation, where there was the Presidential Park at the end of the street and the end of the expressway at the other end of the street.   

Entering the building, the team clearly saw the name of Skilling on the directory of lobby, which indicated that the dealer’s offices were in Room 21 and 22 of 2nd floor.    

The team came to the 2nd floor where they clearly saw the logo of Skilling outside an office. And it was found that the office was composed of Room 21 and 22. 

Subsequently, the team entered the office with permission. Looking round, they found the conference room with capacious space.  Conclusion

The survey team went to Nicosia, Cyprus to visit the dealer Skilling, and found that the broker truly has a business premise at the regulatory address. The office was in a quite large scale. It was estimated that there were about 20 employees working here. However, due to the Covid-19, most of employees chose to work remotely from home and only a few in the office. Please be prudent when trading with this dealer.
