Interactive Brokers has introduced a new AI-powered feature, Ask IBKR, to its IBKR Desktop platform with the release of Version 1.2 (beta).
The tool allows traders to gain instant portfolio insights by typing natural language queries directly into the platforms search bar. For example, entering terms like “Portfolio Performance” will generate tailored results under the new IBKR Ask section.
Launched in July 2025, IBKR Desktop was designed as a comprehensive trading hub for both retail and professional clients. It integrates discovery, analysis, execution, and portfolio management into a single interface.
