WikiFX Breaking News: The Swedish FSA has granted Binance its seventh regulatory approval in the EU
Abstract:Binance, the world's largest digital asset exchange, has been designated as a financial institution by Sweden's Financial Authorities.

Binance is delighted to announce that the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority has awarded Binance Nordics AB registration as a financial institution for the administration and trading of virtual currency (Swedish FSA).
This comes after months of positive interaction with the regulator. Binance Nordics AB is registered under company number 66822.
This registration means that Swedish citizens will now be able to enjoy Binance's extensive crypto and Web3 services, including popular euro deposits and withdrawals, crypto purchasing with euro, trading, staking, and the Binance Visa Card*.
Following authorizations in France, Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Cyprus, and Poland, Sweden becomes the eighth EU Member State to award Binance authorization.
“Binance continues to show its commitment to working collaboratively with regulatory bodies to preserve global standards,” said Richard Teng, Binance's Head of Europe and MENA. Our Swedish registration is the product of many months of devoted, hard work by our team, demonstrating our dedication to the Swedish market and our users. We are really appreciative of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's assistance and approval during the application procedure. Sweden has joined the increasing number of foreign countries that have awarded Binance regulatory permission.
“Sweden fully embraces EU legislation and has additional local requirements, thus we have been cautious to ensure that Binance Nordics AB has enacted risk and AML procedures to meet this rigorous level,” said Roy van Krimpen, Nordics and Benelux Lead. Our next major objective will be to successfully migrate and start local operations in Sweden, which will include employing local people, hosting more events, and providing more crypto education.
Binance will also make the following products available to Swedish users: crypto buy/sell with EUR, spot trading, margin trading, and staking via Binance Earn, Binance Pay, Binance Pool, NFT marketplace, fan tokens, Binance Visa Card, crypto convert function, Launchpad, Launchpool, Savings, BNB Vault, auto-invest, and Custody.
