Based on my careful review of CHIEF as a long-time trader who scrutinizes broker funding processes, I found that CHIEF’s deposit and withdrawal methods are quite traditional compared to global multi-asset brokers. Specifically, funding your account can be done via eDDA (electronic direct debit authorization), FPS (Faster Payment System, a Hong Kong-based real-time payment system), QR Code payments, Instant PPS (Payment by Phone Service), online banking transfers, and also by cash or check. For withdrawals, they require instructions to be submitted via their “Chief Trader” app or through customer support associated with their platforms like “SP Trader Pro HD.” Notably, I could not find any indication that CHIEF currently supports credit card deposits, PayPal, Skrill, or cryptocurrencies—none of the mainstream international online payment solutions seem to be available. This makes the funding process more restrictive, especially for non-local clients or those used to the convenience and speed of modern e-wallets or crypto options. In my experience, such limitations usually mean slower funding and withdrawal cycles, and may not fit the needs of active traders who value flexible and global access. I'd advise anyone considering CHIEF to carefully evaluate if these payment channels suit their needs, especially if you live outside Hong Kong or require rapid fund transfers.
