Having looked closely at Midas Securities, I found that their deposit and withdrawal methods are relatively traditional, tailored primarily to the Hong Kong market. For funding my account, I could choose FPS (Faster Payment System, supporting HKD transfers), regular bank transfer or wire options for multiple currencies (HKD, RMB, and USD), and personal cheque deposits. Their banking partners include well-established names such as Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia), Bank of Communications, and Bank of China (Hong Kong), which lends a sense of reliability to the processes. One thing I always look for—especially as a trader active in international markets—is whether modern payment options like credit cards, PayPal, Skrill, or cryptocurrencies are supported. From my experience and careful review of their procedures, Midas Securities does not accept deposits or withdrawals through credit cards, PayPal, Skrill, or any form of cryptocurrency. All funds must be transferred from or to bank accounts held in the client’s own name, and third-party deposits or withdrawals are not accepted for compliance and security reasons. Withdrawals are processed through signed withdrawal forms submitted via email or fax, and proceeds are credited by cheque to the bank account registered with them. The absence of electronic wallets or crypto options might be inconvenient for some, but it’s common for licensed brokers in Hong Kong and underscores a cautious approach to financial compliance. For me, while this means slightly less convenience, there is a trade-off in regulatory clarity and lower risk of payment disputes or fraud. Anyone considering Midas Securities should ensure that these available methods align with their preferences and needs.
