From my own due diligence and thorough review of MGM, I found that there is no clear or explicit information available regarding inactivity fees. This lack of fee transparency is, in itself, an important cautionary point for me as a trader. In my experience, reputable brokers always make fee structures clear, particularly regarding dormant or inactive accounts, because these can impact long-term profitability or unexpectedly erode account balances over time. Since MGM is not regulated and doesn’t have oversight from any recognized authority, I am even more wary about the potential for hidden or discretionary fees, including on inactivity. The absence of a published fee schedule or any detailed mention of account maintenance charges means that, for me, it's impossible to know with confidence whether an inactivity fee exists or how it might be applied. Given these circumstances, I would proceed very cautiously, and I personally would not open an account with a broker until I had written assurance—ideally in an official terms and conditions document—clarifying if and when inactivity fees or similar charges might occur. For me, this lack of transparency is a significant red flag and limits my trust in the broker’s practices.
