As an experienced trader, my approach to automated trading is very methodical—I always look for brokers that support Expert Advisors (EAs) or algorithmic trading solutions before committing any serious funds, since automation is fundamental to my strategies. When I evaluated BOOM, I paid particular attention to their trading platform and toolset. What I found is that BOOM operates its own proprietary web and mobile trading platforms, rather than industry standards like MT4 or MT5, which are well-known for their built-in support for EAs and advanced automation capabilities. Because BOOM's platforms are not MT4/MT5-based and their documentation does not reference API access or support for automated trading scripts, I could not find any evidence that running EAs or automated trading strategies is possible here. In my experience, proprietary platforms such as BOOM’s typically focus on direct discretionary trading, which suits manual traders but does not accommodate automated systems. This is a material limitation for me, as I cannot integrate my usual algo trading workflows. Given this and my risk management priorities, I would be very cautious about relying on BOOM if automated trading is essential to your strategy. For algo traders like myself, selecting a platform that natively supports EAs or open scripting environments is critical, and from my review, BOOM does not meet this criterion.
