Based on my review and experience researching Yuanta, I was unable to find any explicit information regarding the typical EUR/USD spread for standard accounts. Yuanta is primarily regulated in Hong Kong and operates mainly in equities, derivatives, and futures, making it more known as a broad-based securities and derivatives broker than a dedicated forex broker. Their platforms, such as eWinner and YSHK SP Trader, are designed for multi-asset trading but I found no published details about spot forex spreads, including for common pairs like EUR/USD. This lack of transparency on typical spreads is a concern for me, as knowing your transaction costs upfront is critical when trading forex. Most reputable brokers are upfront with their spread ranges, especially for major pairs. While Yuanta’s regulatory status under the Hong Kong SFC provides some assurance of legitimacy and risk management, the absence of clear and accessible spread data makes it difficult for me to assess their competitiveness or cost-effectiveness for forex trading. Without this essential information, I’d be cautious about trading forex with Yuanta, particularly if tight spreads are a priority in your trading strategy.
