In my experience trading with Tradition, the available platform is their proprietary TRADe system, which is specifically designed and operated by TFS Derivatives HK Ltd for a range of over-the-counter products such as FX forwards, commodities, and Japanese index derivatives. From my careful research and usage, I can confirm that Tradition does not offer support for popular retail trading platforms like MT4, MT5, or cTrader. This is an important distinction; the TRADe platform focuses on institutional-style products with real-time order distribution and execution notifications, rather than the charting tools and automated trading features that platforms like MT4 or MT5 provide. For me, the lack of access to MT4, MT5, or cTrader means I must adapt my workflow and risk management processes to the tools Tradition offers. While their regulated status under the SFC fosters a level of trust and oversight, the absence of mainstream trading platforms could be restrictive if you, like me, rely on third-party plug-ins, EAs, or specific analytical features only available on MT4/MT5. I always advocate thoroughly evaluating whether Tradition’s TRADe system matches your personal trading needs before making any commitments, as platform compatibility can be a decisive factor in a trader’s long-term effectiveness.
