In my experience as a trader, transparency around overnight financing (swap) fees is essential when selecting a broker, as these charges can significantly impact long-term profitability. Unfortunately, based on the information available from my research into XP Investimentos, there is no specific disclosure of their swap rates or overnight financing fees. This lack of detail is concerning for me, especially when compared to other brokers who typically provide clear and updated swap fee schedules. I have observed that regulated brokers, particularly those operating under established jurisdictions, almost always display their swap rates prominently on their platforms or websites, providing me a way to anticipate and manage costs more accurately. Notably, XP Investimentos operates without recognized regulatory oversight, which further increases my caution. Without clear regulation, there is often reduced obligation for brokers to maintain transparency in fee structures, potentially exposing clients to unexpected or higher costs. While XP Investimentos does support professional-grade trading platforms such as MetaTrader 5 and offers a broad suite of investment products, for me, the inability to assess their overnight financing charges or compare them concretely to industry benchmarks is a significant drawback. Given the importance of cost transparency in leveraged trading, I personally would hesitate to engage in overnight positions with XP Investimentos until such information is made readily available and verifiable. Based on what I know from other reputable and regulated brokers, clear disclosure of swap fees is a minimum standard, and lacking this, I must proceed with heightened caution.
