As someone who values stability and transparency in asset management, my experience with Nomura Asset Management has been notably positive but not without some reservations. I chose them because their reputation in Japan as the largest investment trust manager and their strict regulation by the Financial Services Agency offered me an added layer of reassurance. In terms of platform reliability, I have found their systems and technical infrastructure to be mature and robust—there have been no significant issues with downtime or execution delays in my interactions. Their self-developed technology and long-standing presence in the industry suggest that risk management and operational continuity are top priorities. However, when it comes to customer support, my experience has been adequate but sometimes slightly impersonal, perhaps due to the scale of their operations. While I appreciate the transparency with fees and performance reporting, I have found that response times can occasionally be slower than what I’ve encountered with smaller, more boutique firms. This hasn't resulted in major setbacks, but it reminds me to always factor the responsiveness of support into my overall risk assessment. Overall, I haven’t faced any serious drawbacks that would make me question the safety or reliability of Nomura Asset Management, but I remain mindful of the slight trade-off between institutional stability and highly personalized service. For me, the peace of mind that comes from strong regulation and a proven track record outweighs these minor support limitations.
