In my experience evaluating UTRADE, I found that their offering is focused on equities, ETFs, REITs, options, futures, CBBC, bonds, and warrants. When I specifically looked for information about access to popular commodities such as Gold (XAU/USD) and Crude Oil, there was no indication that UTRADE supports trading in these markets. Unlike brokers that advertise forex pairs and major commodities, UTRADE is centered around securities and derivatives available on Hong Kong exchanges and does not mention forex or commodity trading either on their platforms or in their product lists. For me, as someone who regularly considers diversification into commodities alongside equities, this is a core limitation. I have learned to always verify what instruments are available before signing up with a broker, as the product range can impact trading strategies and risk exposure. UTRADE appears regulated by the SFC in Hong Kong for dealing in futures and securities, which supports trust in its operations. However, this regulation does not extend to the broad spectrum of global assets that some other brokers might provide. If trading Gold (XAU/USD) or Crude Oil is crucial for your strategy, I would recommend reaching out directly to UTRADE’s customer support for the latest details, as offerings can sometimes change; however, based on all available information at present, these commodities are not part of their tradable instruments. I prefer to maintain a cautious approach and only utilize brokers whose asset list clearly matches my trading objectives.
