While GFX Securities has been in operation since 2022 and offers an appealing lineup of instruments—forex, metals, cryptocurrencies, and more—the key concern is the complete lack of recognized regulation. Despite claims of a Mauritius registration, I see there is no official regulatory oversight, and this is a substantial red flag for me when it comes to entrusting a broker with my funds. In the forex industry, proper regulation not only offers a layer of security regarding client funds but also imposes certain standards and dispute resolutions, which are absent here. The broker advertises high leverage, up to 1:500, which carries significant inherent risk for most traders, especially in the absence of strong regulatory protection. Another point that stands out for me is the exclusive reliance on their proprietary mobile app, rather than MT4 or MT5, which limits strategy flexibility and transparency; this doesn't align with my needs as a trader who values well-established platforms. Although user reviews mention responsive customer service and convenient fund methods, these positives cannot compensate for the regulatory gap. Personally, I would be highly reluctant to trade with GFX Securities due to the elevated risks involved, particularly as protecting my capital and ensuring legal recourse are my foremost priorities.
