As an experienced trader who prioritizes safety and transparency, I have to note that I could not find any clear or specific information about the typical spread for the EUR/USD pair—or any other forex pairs—on a standard TopstepFX account. In fact, based on my own due diligence and what is presented by TopstepFX, their markets are currently limited exclusively to futures trading, not spot forex. This is a significant detail because many expect a prop trading firm with "FX" in the name to offer traditional forex pairs, but in this case, that's not accurate. Even if spreads were available, I would approach any claim with caution, since TopstepFX is not regulated and has a "high potential risk" score noted by industry trackers. This lack of regulatory oversight makes it difficult for me to confidently assess the fairness or competitiveness of any trading conditions, including spreads. For me, the absence of clear disclosure on fees and the broker’s regulatory status contributes further to my overall caution. In my view, anyone considering TopstepFX should carefully evaluate these points, and if your focus is specifically on spot forex trading with clear spreads, you may want to look at other, well-regulated brokers that provide transparent information before proceeding.
