Based on my experience reviewing Angel One’s services, I found that one notable aspect for new traders is the absence of a minimum deposit requirement. When opening a live trading account with Angel One, you can start with any amount, as there is no compulsory minimum threshold set by the broker. This can make Angel One initially appealing for those who want to explore the platform without a large upfront commitment. However, while the zero minimum deposit sounds convenient, my caution as an experienced trader is necessary here. The lack of regulatory oversight—Angel One is not licensed by SEBI or other major global authorities—adds a layer of risk that cannot be ignored. In my view, when a broker operates without recognized supervision, the standard safeguards for investor protection simply aren’t guaranteed, regardless of how low the barriers to entry may seem financially. For me, the ability to start with any deposit amount means little if the overall security of my funds and the regulatory backing are questionable. I would suggest that any trader, especially those evaluating Angel One because of its low deposit entry, carefully consider the broader risk environment before proceeding, and to never confuse a low initial cost with overall safety or credibility in live trading.
