Based on my review of the available information about TradeSmart, I found the details regarding spreads to be quite limited. The broker does not explicitly state whether it offers fixed or variable spreads, nor does it provide clear information about the average size or behavior of those spreads. In my own trading experience, a lack of clarity around such essential elements raises concerns, especially for anyone considering active trading during times of heightened market volatility, such as during major news releases. With other brokers, I’ve observed that variable spreads can widen significantly during high-impact events, making entry and exit less predictable. Fixed spreads, if available, offer consistency but sometimes at the cost of generally higher trading costs. However, without direct disclosure from TradeSmart, I cannot reliably assess how their spreads react to volatile market conditions. This ambiguity, combined with TradeSmart’s unregulated status and the high potential risks flagged in third-party assessments, makes me personally uncomfortable risking substantial capital with them, particularly when transparency around trading costs and price execution is so crucial for managing risk. In my view, traders need to exercise increased caution and should consider transparency a priority when selecting a broker.
