Based on my review and experience with NFS, it is not possible to trade assets like Gold (XAU/USD) or Crude Oil on their platform. NFS operates primarily as an investment consultancy, and according to the information I found, their offering is focused on products such as equities, unit trusts, investment trusts, capital investment bonds, and ETFs. There is no mention or indication of access to commodities or forex trading, which means instruments like XAU/USD and crude oil are not available. This is a significant consideration for me as someone who often diversifies across asset classes. In my own analysis, the lack of access to major commodities or forex trading is limiting, especially since those assets are vital for active traders seeking broader market exposure. The cautious approach NFS takes—only introducing clients to regulated product providers and not directly handling client funds—can increase confidence in their advisory services, but it does mean their range is narrower than multi-asset brokers. Ultimately, if my trading strategy relied on commodities like gold or oil, NFS would not meet my needs. I urge other traders to carefully review available instruments before opening any account, given the high importance of aligning broker capabilities with one’s own trading objectives and risk profile.
