In my experience with BullionVault, I found that their offering is quite specialized—they do not support popular trading platforms like MT4, MT5, or cTrader. Instead, BullionVault provides access to the precious metals market exclusively through their own proprietary platform, known as the Gold App. This app is available for both iOS and Android devices and is designed specifically for trading physical gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. For me, the transition from widely-used forex platforms to BullionVault’s environment required some adjustment. The interface is user-friendly and allows seamless trading and account management, but it is tailored to precious metals and does not provide the advanced charting tools or automated strategies available on MT4 or MT5. This means that if you are accustomed to algorithmic trading or complex technical analysis as found in cTrader or MetaTrader platforms, you’ll find those features absent here. It's important to understand why BullionVault has chosen this approach—their business is centered on direct ownership and storage of physical metals rather than derivatives or leveraged trading, and the Gold App reflects this philosophy. For anyone considering BullionVault, it’s essential to recognize that platform selection should align with your trading style and goals, and in this case, there is no support for third-party trading terminals.
