From my experience and careful research into Finansia's offerings, I have found that the commission structure does not align with the typical ECN or raw spread model familiar to global forex traders. Unlike brokers with internationally recognized ECN or raw spread accounts that commonly charge a fixed commission per lot traded, Finansia operates primarily within Thailand’s securities market and utilizes a tiered percentage-based fee model. This means that, rather than charging a flat commission per trade size, they apply a percentage of the trade value as a fee, which is more common in stock trading environments. For online trading through Finansia, the brokerage fees can be as low as 0.10% for high-volume traders, but details of any fixed-per-lot commission, as seen with ECN forex accounts, are absent from all available information. In my view, this fee structure is important to distinguish because it impacts cost calculations and trading strategies, especially for those coming from the forex world looking for ultra-tight spreads and straightforward commission schedules. Additionally, Finansia does not appear to offer standard forex ECN accounts, focusing more on securities, so those specifically seeking raw spread models need to be very cautious and reconsider suitability. Ultimately, for my trading approach, I place a high value on regulatory oversight and transparent fee disclosures, both of which are concerns with Finansia due to its lack of international regulation and absence of ECN-style commission information.
