As an independent trader, I have to approach Abbott Futures with a high degree of caution, especially given the available context. My review centers on due diligence and risk—two lessons often learned the hard way in this business. To the best of my experience, when researching a broker, the first things I look for are detailed transparency about trading conditions, particularly common points like typical EUR/USD spreads. Unfortunately, with Abbott Futures, I found a concerning lack of this essential information. Their publicly available data does not disclose any specifics about forex spreads, account types, or even whether they actively support forex trading for standard accounts. In fact, it appears that their offering is limited almost exclusively to global commodities, with forex trading absent from their product lineup. Even more significant for me is the warning around their regulatory status—they currently operate with a suspicious clone license of the NFA and have been subject to regulatory actions, including fines and restitution orders. My personal policy is to avoid any broker where either regulatory legitimacy or basic trading details are unclear. Without verified spread information for EUR/USD—or even confirmation that forex is accessible at all—I would not risk capital or recommend engagement with Abbott Futures for this purpose. For spread-sensitive instruments like EUR/USD, clear, regulated alternatives are readily available and much safer for my peace of mind.
