In my own due diligence as a trader, I've verified that Errante claims oversight from two main financial regulators. Firstly, they hold a license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CYSEC), which is a recognized European regulator. EU-based regulation typically provides some degree of accountability, especially in terms of fund segregation and client protection requirements. However, it's important to scrutinize the fine print: Errante also operates under an offshore license through the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA). In my experience, offshore regulation—while technically a form of oversight—does not provide the same level of recourse or security as more established regulatory bodies. When a broker splits operations across both highly regulated and offshore jurisdictions, I am very cautious. The reason is that disputes or withdrawal issues occurring under the offshore entity may not benefit from EU-level protections or resolution mechanisms. I've also noticed in community feedback that some users expressed concern over withdrawal issues and account handling, which, in my view, further underscores the importance of regulatory jurisdiction. In summary, Errante is subject to regulation by CYSEC in Cyprus and the FSA in Seychelles; I would personally approach such dual regulation with care and ensure I understood exactly which entity my account falls under before depositing significant funds.
