ICAP’s FFS regulation provides a degree of oversight, but the unverified FCA license means that there is an added layer of uncertainty regarding its safety and legitimacy, particularly in the UK market. In my opinion, safety is paramount when choosing a broker. While ICAP offers a range of services and financial instruments, the lack of verification from the FCA makes me hesitant to trust them fully without more clarification. I would recommend exercising caution and ensuring that any concerns about their FCA license are resolved before proceeding with ICAP.
